4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies to:

• Measure our advertising and conversions, if you accept

• Match an enquiry you send us to the ad you arrived from, using a hashed form of your email address
• Monitor page load times and site performance for our hosting provider
• Count page views and record the pages you visit and the site you came from
• Recognize the same browser on later visits, for up to a year

The banner at the bottom of the page controls the trackers we add: Accept loads the OpenAI pixel and Google Analytics described below, and Decline loads neither of them, so we set no advertising or analytics cookies. It does not control our hosting provider's script, which runs either way. Your choice is stored on your device, and the banner returns only if you clear your browser storage.

Third Parties on This Site

Four third parties are involved when you load a page here, and only the first two of them wait for your consent:

• OpenAI runs the advertising pixel. It loads only after you press Accept. From then on it reports your visits to OpenAI for advertising measurement and keeps its own identifiers in your browser. If you then send us the enquiry form, the pixel is given the email address you typed, hashes it with SHA-256 inside your browser and sends only the hash, so OpenAI can match the enquiry to the ad you arrived from. Nothing is sent to OpenAI at all if you declined.
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used. It loads only after you press Accept. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_M29985V527, keeps a visitor identifier for up to two years, and reports the pages you visit, the site you came from, and the approximate location Google derives from your IP address.
• GoDaddy, our hosting provider, adds a measurement script to every page it serves. It sets the cookies _tccl_visitor, _tccl_visit and _scc_session, keeps a visitor identifier for up to a year, and reports page load times, the pages you visit and the site you came from. It is not part of the banner and runs whether you accept or decline.
• Google Fonts serves the typeface our pages use. Your browser requests the font files from Google on each visit, so Google receives your IP address. It sets no cookies here and is not part of the banner.

The Enquiry Form and Advertising Measurement

When you send the enquiry form and have accepted the banner, the email address you entered is handed to the OpenAI pixel running in your browser. The pixel normalises it, computes a SHA-256 hash of it and sends only that hash; the address itself does not leave your browser through the pixel. The purpose is narrow: it lets OpenAI attribute the enquiry to the advertisement you arrived from, so we can tell which ads are worth paying for. It only ever covers an enquiry you actually submitted, and only in the browser you submitted it from. If you pressed Decline, nothing is sent. If you sent the form before answering the banner and then pressed Accept, the enquiry you had already sent is reported at that point; if you never answer, nothing is sent at all. Your enquiry itself reaches us by email through our form provider, and that copy does contain the address you typed, because we need it to reply to you. Note that a hash of an email address is a pseudonym rather than anonymous data: anyone who already holds the address can compute the same hash and match it.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only in these situations:

• With third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors); those named in section 4 receive data under their own terms
• To comply with legal or regulatory obligations
• In connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Secure hosting and encrypted connections (SSL)
• Access control and authentication mechanisms
• Regular security reviews and monitoring

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
